PEPC Short Term Mission Trip
Dominican Republic
October 13-20, 2012
VisionTrust is one of our partnered ministries at PEPC. Currently, VisionTrust runs seven orphanage/schools with a Christian Ministry. In the past, PEPC has sent down teams and have helped to build a school in Herrera. This project established an ongoing relationship with Sabana Perdida and a plan to continue yearly visits with this area. Our team of 10 or more people help with light construction, electrical, painting, and plumbing as well as community outreach and VBS with the children.
Sabana Perdida is located in the city of Santo Domingo, 321 children are in attendance (the second largest of VisionTrust’s programs). Students go through 7th grade and the school building is shared with the church. This program greatly desires to have a system for clean water that will benefit the school, church and community.
Project Needs:
A team of 10 or more people to help establish an ongoing relationship with the church as it grows to administer the love of Christ to the community. Community service will be to the area through VBS, repair/paint homes, discipleship training for families. Once the team has been established we will concentrate on the gifts of the PEPC team.

Serve Dinner at the Denver Rescue Mission
Help serve dinner at the Denver Rescue Mission Lawrence Street, Denver.
This is a good ministry for small groups or families (min. age of 10 years) to do together, but space is limited! Scheduled dates include 3/31/12, 4/16/12 or 4/26/12 and other dates to be determined.
The Denver Rescue Mission is the oldest, full-service Christian charity in the Rocky Mountain region. Thriving today as non-denominational organization, no one is denied services because of gender, race, color, creed, national origin, religion, age, handicap, political affiliation, sex, marital, parental or military status.
