Beginning Wednesday, September 8th!
The Intersection (formerly known as Community Night) is held on Wednesday nights during the school year and includes dinner and a chance to see how your faith meets your life.

Faith and Me
Led by: Randy MacFarland and Steve Brown
Cost: TBD
Are you interested in experiencing God in some new ways as you connect with your Christian brothers and sisters? Then come and join The Pilgrimage of Faith study as we journey through the whole Bible in community and share what we are learning and how it applies to our lives with one another.
Faith and Home
Led by: Dave and Ruth Baer & Becky and Brian Shultz
What if you could participate in the teaching and practical insights of eight different family conferences, one after another, covering just about everything today’s families face? What if the conferences were led by 2 and sometimes 3 generations of leaders so that Moms and Dads and Grandparents were helped in meeting the challenges of family life in a comprehensive and Biblical fashion? What if you were welcomed to participate and ask any questions you wanted about your own family situation? And what if the whole experience came with free access to a new website giving you the latest fun way for you and your family to connect with the Lord in family worship? Sound too good to be true?
Not this year at PEPC. Beginning Wednesday nights this fall and running for 26 weeks, local ministry, FamiliesAlive®, steps into the Wednesday evening Faith and Home slot. Join Dave and Ruth Baer, their daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Brian Shultz, (and sometimes even the grand-kids.
Faith and Community
Led by: Gary McCusker and various others
Come hear from various people how they are making a difference in their work places, neighborhoods, community, organizations and schools; making the gospel contagious. Taking a look at practical and strategic ways, you can integrate your faith to impact those around you in a life changing way for the Kingdom of God. A part of this series will be creating a network, and supporting those going through career changes and a job search.
Faith and World
Led By: Rev. Doug Resler
Cost: $15
The world around us is changing. People living in cultures once separated by oceans, deserts, and mountains now find themselves in the same neighborhoods. This close physical proximity creates conflict as worldviews clash. Some experts have even predicted that the wars of the 21stcentury will be religious in character. In the midst of such turbulent times, it is critical for the Christian believer to be equipped to know what they believe and why they believe it so that they can engage in honest, respectful, hopefully persuasive dialogue with those who are not of the Christian faith. Using the classic text, Kingdom of the Cults, by Dr. Walter Martin, Pastor Doug Resler will be teaching on the background and beliefs of various religions like Islam, Hinduism, Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, etc. with the goal of developing effective evangelistic strategies in order to reach them with the Gospel.
252 Basics
Children (Infant – 5th Grade)
Cost: $10/child or $25/family
252 Basics is an easy-to-use curriculum designed to put your mind at ease and your heart into overdrive. It centers on 3 Basic Truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52, (1) I need to make the wise choice; (2) I can trust God no matter what; (3) I should treat others the way I want to be treated. By the time children reach the fifth grade, we want them to understand and own these 3 Basic Truths, so they’re reinforced each week. We also focus on a core virtue each month. This virtue is supported by the weekly bottom line—the learning aim for the day.
The Lockbox
Middle School (6th-8th Grade)
Led By: Taylor Williams and Volunteer Staff
Middle Schoolers PREPARE! The Lockbox is within each of us. We take everything that we experience and we lock it away, sometimes never to see the contents of it again. That action, the locking up of experiences is not something God calls us to do.
Think about this…
What have I locked up?
What is the key to opening the Lockbox?
God has a great plan for each of us. Come on Wednesday nights for games, worship, small groups and be ready to experience Jesus’ guidance and peace in figuring out how He will break into our Lockbox and set us free of everything!
